How to Login

To set up a profile and login on the OGA web site:

  • You may browse most of the pages of the site without logging on; however, to register for an event you must be logged in the the web site. Your login username is your email address. OGA members have been provided with an initial password, which may be changed to a personal preference after logging on.

  • Non-members as well as people desiring to join OGA will need first to create an on-line profile. To create a  new on-line profile, click either the "Join OGA" button that appears in the orange-color navigation bar near the top of most of the main pages, including the home page, or click the "Join" button that appears at the bottom of the login box at the left of the screen. A "Sign Up" form will appear. Then follow these steps:

    1. Fill in all the required information asked for by the form (name, address, etc.)

    2. If you are NOT intending to JOIN OGA, select "Non-Member - Free" in the Member Type field. "Free" means that no membership fee will be charged. (If you are joining, select the appropriate membership type: Regular, Student, Senior, or Regular Joint OGA-OGEC.)

    3. If you have selected Non-member, then choose "check" as your payment method. (Do this so no payment information with be queried.)

    4. If you are joining OGA, you may select either "credit card" or "check" as your payment method.

    5. Be sure to assign yourself a Password before submitting the form.

    6. Click the "Sign Up" button to submit the form.

    7. A "User Created Successfully" message will appear. (Note: if there are any errors or missing information, you will be a "error in completing your form" message.)

    8. Now, enter your Username (email address) and password (which you just created) into the Member Login dialog box and click the "Log In" button.

    9. You will know that you are logged in when a new, blue-color, navigation menu appears just above the regular orange-color navigation menu with a "Welcome (your name)" message.
