New this year at the OGA Conference:

Interactive Poster Session!

This year, we are inviting poster submissions on all topics related to aging, although posters that reflect the conference theme will be prioritized for presentation. Posters may reflect either original research or feature innovative programs/practices/polices that benefit older adults. Posters that have been previously presented at prior conferences/meeting events are also welcome, as long as the content is still relevant.

Posters will be on display throughout the conference, with scheduled, dedicated face-to-face time, at which poster presenter(s) will be asked to attend and present their poster. The poster should summarize the research results or innovative program/practice/policy using visuals such as tables, graphs, and pictures on a poster no larger than 4 feet by 8 feet. Tabletop and tri-fold posters, as well as posters for wall mounting, are acceptable. The purpose of this presentation format is to facilitate one-on-one and small group discussions with colleagues.

In order to be considered for participation in the poster session, please complete the submission form using the link on the bottom of this page. You will be asked to provide:

  • Name(s) of poster authors/presenters
  • Poster title
  • Contact information
  • Abstract (150-250 words)
  • Affiliation

The form must be submitted by 5pm PT on Friday, September 27th, 2019. You will be notified by Friday, October 4th, regarding acceptance for presentation at the conference. Late submissions will still be reviewed and possibly accepted, but only as room allows.

For any additional questions, please contact [email protected] and use the subject heading “OGA POSTER SESSION”.
