Who Needs an Elder Law Attorney?

In this webinar, the presenter will give an overview of what qualified elder law attorneys do. Using real-world examples, he will explain who can benefit from their services and why. A special focus of this presentation will be on guardianship and power of attorney. There will be time for participants to ask questions.

Intended audience: This webinar is appropriate for everyone interested in learning more about the work of elder law attorneys, including professionals in long-term-care and community-based settings, researchers, educators, students, and advocates in the field of aging.

Michael Rose was raised in the heart of the Cascade range by native Oregonians. During his childhood he lived within minutes of his grandparents and six great-grandparents. He witnessed first-hand the legal and financial struggles many older adults are facing. These experiences inspired him to become an elder law attorney, specializing in asset preservation, estate planning/administration, and substitute decision making.

• Non-member students/seniors and registrants with limited financial means: $5

Why do we ask for a fee?

OGA is a non-profit organization run by volunteers. Events and donations are our main sources of income to fund our educational and networking programs.
