Events of Potential Interest 

Below are non-OGA events related to aging and gerontology that may be of interest to OGA members and supporters.

  • Portland Memory Garden 24th Anniversary Celebration 
    • When: Saturday, June 27th from 11:30 am to 1 pm 
    • Where: Portland Memory Garden
    • What: "Come and enjoy our beautiful garden with music provided by harpist Maureen Briare. There will be light refreshments and activities for the whole family. Free for all! Free street parking available. Pack a picnic, bring your friends and family, and help us kick off our 25th year in style!" 
  • National Grandparents' Day 
    • When: Sunday, September 13th from 11:30 am to 1 pm 
    • Where: Portland Memory Garden 
    • What: "Make it a special day for the grandparents in your life! It’s bound to be joyful for all ages with music by the Hollywood Ukulele Group. It’s free for everyone. Bring a picnic or snack. Sweet treats and cold beverages will be available, and you will find plenty of benches with ample shade for relaxing. Enjoy activities for all ages!"
